Which version Truecrypt? I used 6.2a with the RC with no problems. I now use 6.3 with the RTM/GA also no problems but I haven't tried it with the RC.I just tried 6.3 with the RC and get the same error message.You can get 6.2a here:http://www.truecrypt.org/pastversions
