I have a desktop PC running Windows XP (SP3) and want to share media with a laptop running Windows 7. I'm using Windows Media Player 11 and have 'allow'ed the laptop access to the shared media but the library doesn't show in Windows Media Player 12 running on the laptop.I've checked that UPnP is enabled on the XP PC and my router and I'm using Windows Firewall on the PC so assume that the ports have been unblocked automatically as mentioned in WMP11 help. Do I need to change anything in the router's firewall?If not, can anyone suggest what the problem is?I'm already aware that this will only work one way with the XP machine acting as a server and the Windows 7 laptop acting as client.Thanks in advance for any assistance.1 person needs an answerI do too
