Most laptops come with shortcut keys on the function buttons. can you use them ? other laptops have small slide buttons on the side or front of the laptop that do the same job maybe yours has one of them. What make and model is the laptop?www.mypchealth.co.uk

Thanks for the quick response and easy solution. It never occured to me before to simply use the wireless switch on this machine. I was using Windows XP on it too long I guess! This is a Toshiba A135. Older unit but does Windows 7 surprisingly well. Regards. Jyanendra ------------
