UAC Issues
Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong forum, wasnt sure where to put it ...
The problem I have is with UAC. We had standard users and would like to turn off UAC completely. If we keep it on then it means we will have to create 'UAC fixes' probably with the Application Compatability Toolkit for any app that is not properly Windows
7 compatible.
Also, with UAC disabled you cannot run control panel cpls using a local or domain admin account which means in order to e.g remove an application using Add/Remove programs you need to log off as a standard user and log on as an admin.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi mark wright 66,
Thanks for the post!
By default, the standard user doesn't have the right to install the program. Refer to
here, the adminstrator and standard user has different rights. This design is for security.
Regards,
Miya
