USB 2.0 Problem
nice to hear that the RC will upgrade, on another note, I have a Magic Jack, yes I have heard all kinds of odd stories bout it, but I searched high and low and found a way to make it work, only thing, its devices are USB 2.0, and for some reason my USB 2.0 is now 1.1 and this is one of the more updated motherboards out, ASRock K10N780SLIX3 WiFi and everything was fine untill 3 days ago, when all of the sudden I got a system crash, and had to roll back or system restore to a previous session, well now I have 1.1 USB and the Board IS 2.0 USB but for some reason it broke it. What led me to this is my MP3 player is USB 2.0 and if it is not plugged into a USB 2.0 port then it screams and windows says this device can perform faster if plugged into a USB 2.0 port, yet they are but Windows 7 or something degraded them back to 1.1. I am afraid to do a clean fresh install as I am an internet DJ and use SAM Broadcaster a 300.00 program and does not wish to have to redo it too, as they check hardware signatures on install and I would have to call them oince again after 7 other times if Format and Reinstall Vista HP 64 on my system from my XP system. Miss Tila, I don't know if since the OS crashed, that the hardware was reset to factory default or not but you might want to look into the bios and see if your USB needes to be reset to 2.0. I had a similar problem with my USB ports and found that the bios had my board at 1.1 instead of 2.0.Sorry about the system crash and hope this helps.
