USER ACCOUNT
I have turned off user accounts, but it still appears in my bottom right task bar and pops up telling me to turn it on every time I open the computer. I can physically turn off the icon, but that does not get rid of it. I tried looking in the start-up menu (msconfig), but can't find it to stop it starting when I turn on the computer. Have no idea what forum category this would come under. Thanks.

You need to figure out which operating system you're using and then exactly what pop-up you're referring to and then find the correct forum. This is definitely not the correct forum for your question.Paul Adare CTO IdentIT Inc. ILM MVP

I assume you are running Windows Vista Ultimate which i do.Also you can try this on the rest. Its real simple. Open the Security Center, you can find it by right clicking on "Computer" and then "Properties" and then in the bottom left hand of the page click on "Security Center". Now in the "Security Center" page on the left hand pane click on the link which says "Change the way Security center alerts me" and then a window should pop up with three options. Click on the third one and reboot and that should fix your problem...
