Unable to display Windows firewall get an error Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings
OP: Problem with Windows Firewall settings in XP service pack 3__When I try to display the Firewall settings, a dialog box is displayed saying "Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings".I read a thread about making a file to merge with the registry in XP SP2. I haven't done this as not sure if this would work with SP3? or do I need to do something else? Also, why is this happening? What is wrong with Windows Firewall? If this has been going on for some time is there a Microsoft patch that can be downloaded instead of trying to do registry merges (which I'm not very happy about doing). Thanks
