Unable to map drives
I've just installed RC build 7100 for Windows 7. When I first booted I was able to map drives on my network. After I applied all the windows updates and the updates to MS Office 2007 I rebooted. Following this the network mappings fail and I was unable to recreate them. I do have network connectivity. I can connect to the internet. I can ping the remote locations that I want to map... I just can't map them or access them as \\123.123.123.132 a network address. Thoughts? Ideas? Help?

It is possible one of the Windows updates caused this. You can try removing a few and see which one relieves the issue.

Yep. Tried that. I removed all my MS Office and Windows Updates that I added yesterday and rebooted. Still No go. Office 2007 SP2 was something that did not let me uninstall though.

Can you restore to the day before then? Before the SP2 was installed?

I found the problem. I had installed one of the only available anti-virus programs for Windows 7 64bit - BullGuard version8.5 This was preventing the mapping of drives.
