Unable to read a PDF sent in Notepad
I received a file from a known friend. It is a PDF file sent in Notepad software. All I see when I open or down load it is Greek garbage. Because of a project we are working on together, I expect to receive several more of these.
I need to be able to download. I do have Notepad software on my system.1 person needs an answerI do too

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what "a PDF file sent in Notepad software" means. The Notepad program that's built into Windows XP is a simple text editor, and it can't display a PDF
file. You need Adobe Reader for that.Boulder Computer Maven

it's only the most complex things it has problems with) - foxitsoftware.com

If the file was a PDF that was opened in notepad and saved using notepad, then the file was corrupted when it was saved - notepad doesn't know what a PDF file is so it tries to display it as text. It will also try to save as text. However,
a PDF is a binary file.
