Unable to uninstall old ukonline voyager 105 modem software
Original Title: "Hi, so out of my depth, help!!! ____broadband account changed from one server to another - from ukonline to sky. __ ____"new router installed, software installed all fine. Internet connectivity all fineProblem: the old ukonline voyager 105 modem will not uninstall (hardware/software). message: new.dll, then message: administrator rights needed. I am the administrator and as such added no passwords etc.Problem: with Outlook express. I removed ukonline account details and added a new account. Sky tech (catherine) talked me through adding the details and fetching all submitted - pop.tools.sky.com, port numbers and relevent fields all completed. However Outlook will not let me sign in with under new account details (all details checked several times). Is the old hardware a clashat a loss, Lucy.

Hi Lucy, - What exactly happens when you try to sign with the new account in Outlook Express? Do you get any error message or error code? If yes, specify the same. Try to enable the built-in administrator account and check if you can successfully uninstall the software. The built-in Administrator account is hidden from Welcome Screen when a user account with Administrator privileges exists and enabled. In Windows XP Home Edition, you can login as built-in Administrator in Safe Mode only. For XP Professional, press CTRL + ALT + DEL twice at the Welcome Screen and input your Administrator password in the classic logon window that appears. Try to uninstall the software from this account and check. Post back with more specific details about the Outlook Express issue to help us assist you better.
