Unable to view domain computers on Windows 7 computer
I have this repeating issue with all Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008R2 machines. We are unable to view computers on the domain. I have disabled the firewalls and turned on all levels of advanced sharing under the network settings. The machine responds appropriately until it is disconnected from the network and rejoined. VPN access also does not show domain computers. This is an ongoing issue and have tried all fixes in these discussions to no long term fix. Microsoft needs to fix this now!! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean you "can't view computers in the domain?" Do you mean browsing through the network explorer?

Like Leo published: enable Network Discovery. Click Start->Control Panel->Network and Sharing Center, click Change advanced sharing settings. Enable the option.
