Uninstalling Multiple Copies of Windows 7 on my desktop
Somehow on my computer I have 2 copies of Windows 7 and my old version of Windows XP installed on the computer. I had been under the impression that when upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, the upgrade process when using the CD-ROM would erase the old operating system from the computer. However, this did not happen. I tried to use the Windows 7 disk again to erase the old version, and to make sure everything that needed to be upgraded was. However, this did not work - I now have two versions of Windows 7 and the old version of Windows XP on the computer. To make matters worse, when the second version of 7 was installed, it hid all of the digital photos on my system. HELP!!!!

Hi, I would like to confirm if Windows XP is still installed. Where the digital photos located? How many Operating System items are listed on the startup screen when starting the computer? To uninstall one copy of Windows 7, please first clarify which partition the system is installed on. After that, you can format this partition or delete the Windows, Users and Program Files folder. After that, if the boot item still persists, please use the following tool to remove the boot item from boot screen: http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1Vivian Xing - MSFT
