Uninstalling an App, it still shows up in hidden folders

Hi everyone,

I downloaded some programs last year and ended up having computer trouble. I quickly deleted them from the Control Panel>Programs and then Uninstall. However, they are still showing up in Hidden files, under C: Users>Pita>AppData>Local. I was wondering how I might be able to get rid of them altogether and if deleting them from there would cause any issues. One of the programs is constantly running under Background Tasks on the Task Manager, even though I uninstalled the program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul,

" One of the programs is constantly running under Background Tasks on the Task Manager, even though I uninstalled the program"

Have you tried to navigate to the file location by right click the task ?

First of all ,I would suggest you to perform a full scan with the antivirus software tool .We may need to run it in the mode to improve the scan quality .

We can delete the related folder if we want to remove the application compeletely .
To remove a software program completelly ,here is a link for reference:

We also can run the tool to cleanup the registry after we uninstall the software.
