Update for Windows Update?
I did a "check for updates" on my "Windows Update" this afternoon and was told that I needed to update my Windows Update before I could check for updates. So I hit the install button (on Windows Update). Then right away I got the WindowsUpdate_xxxx (sorry I didn't write down the number) error. I hit cancel, hit "check for updates" again, and instead saw my old list of outstanding updates.I closed Windows Update, tried again, and saw that same "you need to update your windows update" again, hit "install", got the same error. After I cancelled this time, I no longer get any message to ask me to update my Windows Update. I've rebooted my machine, still nothing, just my old list of updates on my Windows Update. On my update history, I am not seeing anything dated today.Any suggestion would be appreciated.I have Windows Vista SP2. Thank you.
