Hi,
According to the Microsoft KB description about this update, it seems like there is no relationship with Facebook issue.
What's the type of FaceBook? Store app, webpage or Desktop Client?
How about reinstall FaceBook or the Windows Update for test?
Kb3079904 fixes a vulnerability flaw for a font driver that could allow remote code execution and is a critical update.
I would suggest performing a clean boot of your computer and open Facebook to see if your computer still freezes. If not, then you can turn on one service at a time until it does to verify which application may be causing the conflict. Should your computer continue to freeze, perform a security scan of your computer from the Safety and Security Center or whichever malware/spyware removal tool you prefer.
If the problem still persists, as Roger Lu mentioned, you could uninstall then reinstall the update.
