I have a Sony Vaio that had Windows 8 pre-installed.  I have tried to upgrade to Window 8.1 but I am being told that I cannot upgrade from this version.  Is there an OEM upgrade that I must utilize.  I cannot upgrade from the 8.1 upgrade on the microsoft site.  

contact manufactured for better answer, some OEM still not ready upgrade to 8.1 unless you do clean install and all HW compatible with Windows 8.1
