I'm using windows 8.1 pro wmc 32 bit operating sysytem with x64 based processor. There is a upgrade for windows 10 available for me and I can reserve it but I confused.

can I upgrade to 32 to 64 bit operating system.

And one more question to ask I have 2GB of RAM, which is compatable  to 64 bit.

some of the people said 64 bit operating system have minimum 4GB of RAM.Is it true?

Unfortunately you must upgrade to the same edition you are running because changing to 64 bit requires a custom install with format.  After you update you CAN download the ISO format the drive and change to 64 bit.

With only 2 gigs of ram you should not change to 64 bit because it uses more resources than 32 bit.  The minimum ram for 64 bit is 2 gigs.  The minimum ram for 32 bit is 1 gig so you are better off with 32 bit
