Upgraded to Outlook Express and lost my English Dictionary only have French and I don't know how to get it back or fix it.
I have a French dictionary and it isn't helping me one bit! I'm running Windows XP and I upgraded Outlook Express 6 and lost my English Dictionary. I went to options, Spelling and to dictionary and all there is to choose from is French. At one time I had it fixed by someone at Dell. Then my computer had to be "set back to factory defaults" and when I loaded my upgrade it messed up again and I have to pay this time to have someone help me. I can't remember what exactly I did to install the English Dictionary so it worked properly with Outlook Express. Whatever they had me do worked beautifully. I'm hoping someone with the knowledge can share it with me! Many thanks in advance!3 people need an answerI do too

I did the following (below)and got this error: Documents and settings\rosa\local settings\temporary Internet Files\content.ie5\96J19EGQ\spelloe_setup[1]. exe is not a valid win32 application. I dont know what this all means. It has taken you by surprise... one fine day (you probably noticed it today), the spell check dictionary in Outlook Express has changed to French. You know you didn't change anything in the program so how has this happened? But before I go about telling you the cause of the problem - you can read about it below - let me give you the solution. As recommended by Microsoft itself, the best way to get back the English dictionary in Outlook Express from the French one that you see now, is to use a third party program - a dictionary developed by another company. There are tons of these available but we all look first for the free options, right?
