User Account Control
Hi I'm a little bit confused about UAC. Are there two different UACs in Windows 7? If I'm logged in with my administrator account "admin12" then UAC is set on the third level. If I'm logged in as a regular user "user123" and than run UAC - again as "admin12" - I see UAC is set on the highest level. lg Marcello

There aren't two different kinds of UAC it can just be configured seperately for different users. If you don't like the prompts on the admin account you can turn it off but the settings on the other regular account can still be configured however you want them and be completely seperate from the admin account. this is by design.

Thanks for you answer. So this means even as an administrator I have to be logged in as a regular user to set its UAC configuration? Thought I could do this while I'm logged in with my own admin account.

Ya you will have to be logged in as the user and then set their UAC to what you want, and give your administrator credentials to approve of the change.
