User Account Control in Domain environment
I have configured a few Windows 7 laptops for use in a domain and the need for administrative credentials is not the most user friendly experience. I know that best practices state that UAC should be enabled, but is this common practice in a domain
where users do not have administrative rights on the PCs?
When we migrate fully to Windows 7 I fear this will produce many many many issues. Today the issue was enabling Update settings for Office 2010, but I fear most things will show UAC and get in the way. Is it common practice to turn this off with

Thanks for posting in TechNet Forum.
It's recommended do not turn off the UAC, although the elevation prompt is the most visible part of UAC. UAC also have other benefit like Protected Mode in Internet Explorer, File and registry virtualization.
