User Environment Error after selecting Limited User Account Profile XP Home Edition SP3
My Current Problem Status: 1. When I click on my Limited User Account Profile in the Welcome Screen, a User Environment dialog box displays the following error message instead of my Limited User Account Profile : "User Environment Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator. Time Remaining: 30 [countdown timer] OK button" 2. Funny enough, my brother can access his Limited User Account Profile but the user environment settings are not the same as my profile after the User Environment error message started displaying on my profile. It looks totally different. He cannot make changes, which is fine by me. What I Did: 1. I have now deleted and have created another Limited User Account Profile with the same User Environment error message. 2. I ran Full System Scans with no security risks. 3. I searched on the Knowledge Database on Microsoft. I could not find anything that was understandable to me. Computer Information: 1. The only connection on my computer is directly to a modem. 2. I am the administrator for my profile (sic: I mean my computer). 3. I do not remember why this started as it was such a long time ago. 4. Dell Dimension Desktop 512MB RAM 80GB 5. Browsers: FF 3.0.17 IE7 6. OS: Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 SP3 7. Security: NIS 2009 (16.7.2.11), AdBlockPlus Version 1.1.3 My End Result Outcome: I would like to be able to create a new Limited User Account Profile without the User Environment error dialog box displaying each time I create a Limited User Account Profile . Any help and advice are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.1 person needs an answerI do too

I noticed through Regedit that my Profile with original name is still listed along with existing user profiles. I deleted the original account quite awhile ago and I don't know why the registry key is still exists? Is this why I cannot access this profile and create new user account profiles?

OPTION ONEAs long as you can gain access to an Administrator Account on your computer you should be able to run a scan disk utility, to run scan disk click START left click on MY COMPUTER when loads right click on you C: Drive and select properties. Then on the TAB accross the top there a tab call TOOLS, click this option and then in the information pane there should be an option for Error Checking. Select CHECK NOW button. Then this will bring up two tick boxes, select both and click OK this will then ask you to restart your computer, say yes and will also say that scan dick will perform a check on next restart. When computer it starts it will try and correct all damaged or courpt files on your hard drive including the one your having problems with.OPTION TWOIf the above option does not sort out you error I would go to the Microsoft website and Install all possible updates then run the scan againThese two option should get rid of your User Environment error, If not I have many more ways to sort your problem out.Kind Regards
