Hi,The users profile folder (redirected) is automatically assigned exclusing ownership to the user and Administrators cant access it. This is a problem for our backups.We had this problem with Documents/Desktop redirection etc, but we fixed that by changing a GPO (2008 AD) so that it did not exclusively give the users ownership. This option does not seem to be available for the Users profile GPO.Does anyone have any ideas on this?Thanks,Paul

There's another GPO setting which will get you around this problem: Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Administrative Templates -> System/User Profiles "Add the Administrators security group to roaming user profiles" = Enabled The bad news is that this doesn't work retrospectively...only as new roaming profiles get created. If you're not in a position to recreate the user profiles, then either go through each one manually, take ownership and add the Administrators group to the ACL, or if there are too many profile folders it's possible to automate the entire process with Powershell (though this is difficult).
