Using WIN7 on TWO machines
hi All...I am enjoying using WIN7 on my laptop and was wondering if I can install the same copy with the same registration number on my Home Theatre PC.... ? Or do I need to download a new copy..?cheers

Linian - You can use the same copy of Win 7 - with the same product key - on up to 10 computers. Actually, given there are only like 5 product keys out there, you can probably get away with installing it on a lot more. Either way, at this point, you can't download another copy - the beta is no longer available for download - unless you're a Technet or MSDN subscriber.Enjoy...

Hi linianIn Windows 7, go to Start and type License in the Search Box.In the Results, double click License.rtf.This will open the EULA that contains all of the information you are looking for.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Beta

a. Software License. You may install and use any number of copies of the software on your premises to design, develop and test your programs for use with the software.
