Using a Laptop and Desktop (Windows 7).. Connected by a wireless router... At first i can use sharing feature.. Then suddenly it can't access.. How come???
Well.. it started when i transfer all my files thru networking from my laptop to my desktop a few days ago.. It went well.. then formated the whole laptop and put in windows7 build 6801.. At the point i was still able to use the networking sharing feature.. Though i further upgrade my os to Windows 7 build 7068.. When upgrading the system told me that my wireless driver needed to be upgrade.. (which i did later after upgrading)Ok.. first after installing the wireless driver.. I manage to access the home networking share file.. (meaning i can access my desktop from my laptop)... By then i started to install some utilities software (Winamp.. Advance system care.. iTunes.. GOM plyaer.. TuneUp 2009.. and lastly Kaspersky Internet Security 2009)..After all that.. suddenly i can access my desktop files from my network... (It is the same as in my desktop as it cannot access my laptop)I've tried to off the router.. restart the both computer... it still show the message (Windows cannot access \\nameofcomputer\files.. and its detail is the network path was not found)Hmm.. can SOMEBODY help me??Is it possible due to the Kaspersky???

Hi itahir2020 Unfortunately, we cannot support the leaked builds of Windows 7, such as 7068. I would recommend that you perform a clean installation with the Windows 7 Release Candidate Build 7100, which will be available in 2 days, on Tuesday May 5th.Here is the information and a link where the download will be available.Windows 7 Beta Customer Preview ProgramThanks for understanding. This thread will be locked.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Beta Ronnie Vernon MVPForum Moderator
