Using new BT Home Hub 2.0
I've recently upgraded by BT connection to BT HomeHub 2.0. I get blue lights in all the rightplaces on the hub. But the software cannot verify my settings. And then I am unable to proceed further. (So I just reconnect the old wireless hub) I've had over an hour with the BT help folk and they blame my Inspiron (using Windows 7). I don't want to try the new hub on my desktop as then I'll lose the connection on the lap top. What can i try to get around the problem?

I can assure you Microsoft is not going to be able to tell you why a third party piece of hardware won't function properly with your system. Instead of posting in a Microsoft Windows 7 forum, why don't you search for forums or discussion groups with participants using the BT HomeHub and seek advice from others using the hardware. Your chances of finding a solution in a BT HomeHub forum of group a a lot higher than it is posting here where you will not encounter nearly as many people using the HomeHub. It sounds like the HomeHub and/or software are not compatible with Windows 7. If you search the internet for "BT Home Hub" AND "Windows 7" exactly as shown you will find lots of links with related information. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
