VPN Connections dissapearing for non admin users
Just switched my work computers from XP to Win7.. this never happened on XP.
These laptops are set to connect to the company VPN. All users are regular domain users, none of them has any admin rights.
They have VPN connections configured but sometimes they just "dissapear".. no connection shows. If I logoff and logon back as an admin the VPN connection is there.
If I try creating a connection as the regular user it doesn't show either, but loging back as an admin and the vpn connection created by the user is there.
To solve it I log on as admin, delete all vpn connections, restart, then recreate it on the regular user profile... this seems to work until that connection disappears also..
Ive seen this on various forums with no answer... please someone tell me I haven't looked everywhere for a non existent solution..

Hi,
I would like to verify whether the issue occurs on domain users or non-domain users. I suggest creating new user account, disabling firewall and security software
temporarily to check the result. If possible, add the users into power user group.
Best Regards,
Niki
