VPN connection constantly drops out every few minutes
I am trying to connect to the office network from home via VPN using my laptop which has Windows 7 Ultimate and the connection keeps dropping out every 3-4 mins. The firewall is turned off. There is no issue with the modem router because I have no problem
connecting to the office using my own PC which has Windows 7 Home Premium. I am not sure what goes wrong here since it was working a few weeks before.

Hi,
May I know if this is a Windows based VPN server and if you establish the VPN connection with the Windows built-in feature?
If you are using a wireless connection when establishing the VPN connection, I would suggest you try the wired connection on the laptop since it is more stable. Meanwhile,
please try the following:
1.
Double-check the VPN connection settings.
2.
Update the network adapter driver.
3.
Try
clean boot and disable your security software temporarily
for a test.
If the issue persists, please enable RRAS log if it is a Windows based VPN server.

Hi,
I do establish the VPN connection with the Windows built-in feature.
The issue persists after I tried steps 1-3 above.
I then enable RRAS log and can find some errors in the log:

There are no events created by RemoteAccess in the event log.
