I am horrible slowness when publishing from VS in Win7. My environment is Win 7 (build 7600) which was installed clean. I am running Visual Studio 2008 SP1. Eveything is fully patched. I am publishing to a Win 2008 server on my local network. I tried the "Clean Boot" test that I found in http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itpronetworking/thread/b274d710-2b1a-4a88-bc59-f6a790719d32 and it still takes 20+ min to publish a small app. This is a brand new install (last week) formally I was using the exact same setup except the OS was XP. I have tried using UNC and a mapped drive. Both have the same problem.Any help would be appreciated.-chris

Hi Chris, Please also right-click on the icon of the Visual Studio and select “Run as Administrator” to see how it works.
