Hi, I suggest checking the following points: 1. On Windows Vista and Windows 2000 machines, open a Command Prompt and type net view \\D600, and press Enter to check the result. Can you view the shared resource on the Windows XP machine? 2. On the Windows XP machines, open My Network Places, double-click workgroup name WG1 and double-click D600 to check the result. Can it access itself in My Network Places? If there is any error received, please let me know the exact wording of the message.

Joson, Thanks for the information. After some additional research, I found a Group Policy setting that was preventing browsing the XP networked machine. The path is: Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options Must set the following item to disabled in order to browse the network wirhout a password.Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only = Disable However, as mentioned previously, I was able to unc to access the shared drives on other machines, which seems to be a bug in XP. Thanks, John
