Vista BitLocker in a VMware Virtual Machine
Has anyone been able to install Vista and enable BitLocker in a VMware Workstation Virtual Machine? I have tried it and have not been able to getVista to recognoze my two drive partitions as meeting the minimum requirement for enabling BitLocker. Is this even possible in a VM?

At this point in time, BitLocker is not supported in a virtual environment. Sorry. You may want to follow http://blogs.technet.com/bitlocker Byron HynesWindows Server DivisionMicrosoft Corporation

Hi, I got MS Vista Bitlocker functionality working within a Virtual Environment while at uni. Although most of my attempts failed, the issue was surrounding what kind of USB Stick i used to store the key. It appeared the the version of VMWare i was using was only able to find my kingston stick on boot. however i can say that i did get MS Vista Bitlocker working in VMWare, although i must say it may have been Vista RC1 as it was for a uni project.
