Dear all,I'm trying to access my Vista Business PC via RDP. Unfortunately I forgot to set a password. Now the Vista security policy prohibits logging on to the corresponding PC via RDP as long as there is no password set. Is there a way to change the password via RDP?RegardsAlex

Hi Alex, thanks for the post. Do you have any other account with administrator privilege to log on the computer? If so, you can log on with that account locally or via RDP and then change the password. Otherwise, I consider we are not able to change password or even log on the computer through RDP.Sean Zhu - MSFT

Dear Sean,no, there's no other administrative account available at this time. Then I'll change the password at the console instead. I was just wonderung whether password changes are possible while being connected via RDP. Thanks anyway.Alex
