Vista Login Displays The system cannot log you on now because the domain <DOMAIN_NAME> is not available
Hi Please can someone help shed some light on the following. The Sony laptop in question is running Vista PRO and was originally attached to the office network via the company domain. It is now being used while "out on the road", however, on trying to login using the original domain-name/username & password, the system displays "The system cannot log you on now because the domain <xxx> is not available. This is a true situation and the domain is not available... we can login as as another local user but we need to access to the domain/username desktop. Is there a means of logining again without the domain - but giving access to the desktop? Any help that can be offered would bemuch appreciated. thanks Andrew
