Vista Network Monitor Capture Start = Dropped Connection
I have installed the Network Monitor tool (Version 3.2.1303.0)on Vista. It detects the network adapters properly and works fine until i start a capture. At that point, my wireless network connection immediately stops functioning. Once i stop the capture, it immediately returns to working properly. I tried the same process on a laptop i borrowed and it had no problem. I tried unbinding everything from the connection except ipv4, client for ms networks, file and printer sharing, and the network monitor driver and still have the same problem. Also, if i start a capture using onlymy wired connection the capture works fine. What other elements could cause the connection to cut out when i start a capture?
