Vista Remote Desktop Client
The client computer runs Vista Home edition, connects to remote network over Juniper SSL VPN. When trying to connect to Windows 2000 terminal server gets the following error. "This computer can't connect to the remote computer" The client can connect to Windows 2003 terminal servers both in Application and Remote Admin modes. The client does receive and store a temporary License for Windows 2003. The client can ping the Windows 2000 server. The client can access network shares and ftp server on the windows 2000 server. The terminal server can connect to the Licensing server. Other Vista clients can connect to the Windows 2000 server both locally and over the VPN. Using netstat it can be verified that a TCP connection is established between the client and the Windows 2000 server. The client does not receive a Window 2000 TS license. I don't have the ability to capture packets. There are no errors in event logs. What can I do to troubleshoot further? What could be the problem?
