Vista Security Patch information
Hi,I'm looking for an easy way to find and document (I was thinking a spreadsheet)all the security patches for a given Vista version/edition/language.For instance forVista Enterprise, SP1, English, X86.Currently I do this manually, by browsing the MS site. I also played around with WSUS and MS Reporter. We don't actually patch our PC's ourselfs, it's outsourced to another company. I need to keep track of the security patches to check if the outsourcing partner actually installs the patches as they come out.Any suggestions/pointers?

Hi Littlebighuman, thanks for the post. I consider we need to do this manually as we have different updates and optional updates for different spec of computers. I suggest you check and install all updates on a standard computer and check the update list in Control Panel Windows Update View update history. For WSUS related issues, you can post them to the following forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverwsus/threads/ Sean Zhu - MSFT

I thinkthe Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer does exactly what you need:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/cc184924.aspx
