I am running Vista Business Edition on a new IBM ThinkPad, and can connect to the internet without fail. However, I can only occasionally access my preconfigured PPTP VPN connections. Roughly 3/4 of the times I attempt to connect, I am denied the ability to do so. The connections are visible in the 'Connect to' Window, but are red X'd , with the Connect button greyed out also. I am logged on as an administrator, and the issue seems to occur at random, and without regard to whether connected via network cable or wireless. Any thoughts about the cause? Help is greatly appreciated.
