Vista doesn't get machine certificate despite domain policy
In order to use Vista with Microsoft L2TP, we have set domain policy to issue machine certificates using ACRS (Automatic Certificate Request settings) in a standard 2003 native domain. Our Vista RC1 client did not get a certificate automatically, even after a gpupdate /force. However, manually requesting the certificate through the mmc snap-in worked immediately.
