Vista drivers for 802.11g Wireless USB Adapter (Arcadyan WN4501F)
I upgraded my Media Center PC to Vista (SP1) and it can't find a driver for the 802.11g Wireless USB adaptor.According to the Vista certified list it should work but It keeps prompting me at startup to look for a driver for it. I have not been able to locate a driver at the vendor's site or at Microsoft and my wireless is still dead. Can someone tell me where I can download the driver without having to pay for someting like DriverDetective or any of the other rip off products out there on those "free" driver sites. The card itself says it is an "Arcadyan, modelWN4501F". All help is appreciated.

Hi, Yes, this product should be compatible with Windows Vista. Unfortunately, I cannot find out the driver of this product from the Acradyan website as well. It seems that they did not provide a link to download driver. Id like to recommend that you contact the Arcadyan manufacturer for the driver information. For your convenience, Ive included the link of Arcadyans home page and contact information: Home Page http://www.arcadyan.com/english/company/profile_culture.asp Contact http://www.arcadyan.com/english/other/contact.asp Note: This response contains a reference to a third party World Wide Web site. Joson, I waitied for ever to hear back from Arcadyan. Their response came and was really of no help at all. They identified the wrong product then said they didnt have drivers for it. I am not sure if there was a language barrier issue going on or what. IS there anyway that you could research this further and let me know what you find. I assume since Microsoft says the device ios Vista compatable that someone somewhere has a driver for the wireless. Thanks again
