I have Vista Business Edition.I install my network program using installshield. The installshield will call a programto add allowedprogram to exception listof the firewall using netsh firewall add allowedprogram....Everything works fine after the installation of my program. I see my program added in the exceptionlist of the firewall settings. However, after a while of running, or when I reboot, I don't see my program in the exception listany more. It seems to me that the system auto delete or something after sometime.Can someone help? Thank a lot

Is the Application that you install that changed the firewall rules, VISTA designed software ? You might be setting the Firewall per login session. If you are part of a domain set Group Policy Firewall rules.
