Vista seemingly randomly can't connect to the internet.
So when I first installed Vista I had no internet connection. After I installed new drivers for my NIC my internet worked. Until I restarted my computer at which point is was local only again. Then I reinstalled my drivers for my network card at which point my internet worked again, this time seemingly forever. That is until I started UAC back up at which point it restarted and no longer worked.I also noticed after I reenabled UAC that my graphics card details were wrong again as well. Would reenabling UAC mess up anything that had been done while UAC was disabled?I've tried everything I tried before but it hasn't worked. Also, when Vista crashes and restarts and it checks for a solution to "windows shutting down unexpectantly" And the solution is "it will be fixed in the future." Does that mean the bug doesn't have to be reported? Thanks.

I think that the message "It will be fixed in the ruture" should not Keep you from reporting the error.

this is a function of the new network unreachability detection and gateway failover in the new TCP/IP stack in Vista. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/columns/cableguy/cg1105.mspx http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/columns/cableguy/cg0905.mspx

OK, but under what circumstances would this kill my internet? It seems to me this should mostly improve the reliability of my internet not break it.
