Hi, I made some apps in Visual Basic 2012 Express (desktop apps not metro apps). Then after upgrading to Windows 8.1 Pro Preview, no apps were working. I backed up them with project files, but they won't open.

Note : The same happened in Windows 8 Pro but didn't in Windows 7 Ultimate

I would suggest you to run Windows 8 UI App Troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.

I think that the troubleshooter works only for Windows Store apps. But, Still I posted this Bug (or whatever) in Visual Studio Forums you Posted !
