WIFI not connecting win 7
SO I have a strange one. the front of my PC shows WIFI is working. but. it will not connect/find any kind of WIFI signal.in fact it it says that the Wifi is Not connected in the CTRL Panel. what might the issue is one of the many wires that got unplugged. I have tried finding out where the black one goes that I think is for wifi. probably the antenna cable it has a copper end on it! maybe 3 or 4 feet long! another wire that is off os a red one with prongs. it seems like that might be a ground. How they came off I DO not know really. if anyone has any idea on this let me know ASAP. I am DSL/T Lan connected. cable is not as fast though!

Hi, Based on my research, please try the following: 1. Check if other devices can connect to WIFI successfully. 2. Update the wireless NIC driver to the latest and see how it works. 3. Check if the following articles can help you. View and connect to available wireless networks Why cant I find a wireless network? Why is my wireless signal strength so low? Wireless networking: frequently asked questions If issue persists, please provide us screenshots about the issue. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support

Well something interesting randomly happens every so often. Wifi just happens to turn on after a few restarts. the Time and date system has failed so has Bios. when you see the "Bios has had to reset back to the Default proprieties due to an error" with 1 beep on your PC at startup. you know the motherboard is going.
