Hi Dear Buddies.

I have winserver 2008 r2 in vm workstation

I configure my dns server for website publishing .... then I have access to the site by domain name until I work with Vm !

After a hour I couldn`t access the site by domain name , so I try to work with my vm for a minute , then it will be done !

I customized the power option and sleep time , but the problem is still availbale !

what should I do !??!??

The main issue is that the DNS will not work after a hour ,right ?
Have you got any error messages when this issue occur ?Will the site accessed by the IP address ?
Have you tried to ping the dns server with the IP address when it won`t work ?

Please take the following steps to have a check :
1.Clear the dns cache to have a check :
Clear the server names cache
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc782459(v=ws.10).aspx

2.Disable the automatically feature by running the following code to have a check :
net config server /autodisconnect:-1

Meanwhile ,please check the Event Viewer for any errors or warnings related to this issue .

I followed step 1, 2 .....

But my main issue is why i could access my website by ip address as such as faster than domain name !?

Should I adjust special configuration on my DNS to resolve the requests faster !?
