Hi!

I have Lync 2013 Basic installed.

Lync works perfectly fine until I want to use my web cam. When I hoover over the web cam, to set it in preview or if I push the webcam button Lync freezes. I have even tried another webcam, and it was the same problem.

My computer is running Windows 8.1 and I got 4Gb RAM and 3,20 GHz prosessor.

I have also installed all the new drivers, and updates.

So why is Lync freezing when I want to use the web-cam?

This problem is not related to any specific web Cam drivers, however you need to update the latest patch of Lync 2013 Basic. Now a days you can use Lync full version which is more enhanced.
