I and several developers with differen computers configurations (Dell Latitude 540, 640 with Windows XP, Lenovo T61 with Vista) have problem with VPN. It does not estabilish connection to the server until close Microsoft Virtual PC.

Hi, VPC installs a service called "Virtual Machine Network Services" on all network adapters. Based on some customers feedback, that seems to interfere with certain VPN settings. I suggest you uncheck "Virtual Machine Network Services" service from the properties of your network adapter and test the issue again. If the issue still persists, please uncheck "Virtual Machine Network Services" service from VPN settings. Hope it helps.
