Hi Wake Timers are a component that programmers can use to wake an idlesystemand peform a routine function, when the system is in sleep mode. Prior to Windows 7, the user had no control over this. Windows 7 gives the user the option to disable or enable the sleep timers. Here is a link to another thread about this issue. Computer frequently wakes up by itself? Hi, I have been searching for a way to play an alarm timer without being forced to disable the sleep mode every night, wasting lots of energy. I have windows 7 and Alarm Clock Pro doesn't work. The timer doesn't ring when the computer is in sleep mode. So I came with the idea to wake windows automatically before the timer would ring with another program; do you know any program or any way to wake windows on a predefined time so the timer could work even if the computer spends the night in sleep mode? Thanks for your answer

Hello Eldramatico, You can create a scheduled task, tell the scheduled task to wake the computer. Open control panel and search for Task Scheduler, Create a new task, Under Triggers you can specify a time to run the task Under conditions you can check the box that tells the task to wake the machine. Thanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights

Thanks a lot for your answer, combined with the program I have found I think it'll work, it worked fine with the clock program I have tested it with so it should work with the other with a snooze Thanks
