What happens when I send in a Feedback?
I've submitted several reports via the Feedback tool, but there is no indication of anything happening. I click on Send and poof, it's gone. It really would be nice if there was some kind of response to indicate it was really sent and that it was actually received. Is there a web site where I can review what I've submitted?Rich

Hi Ztruker The Feedback is a one way process. As long as you do not receive an error message when you click the submit button, you can be assured that the data has been sent. The raw data is distributed to the product team that owns the component for the data that was sent. Setting up a website where all of the data can be reviewed would just be too cumbersome and problematic. There areseveral miilion users involved in the public beta. Hope this helps. Ronnie Vernon MVP

Right after you send your feedback, look in your tool tray, you should see something that looks like a little blue dot. Click on it, you can watch the progress of your submission, and will get a verification at the end.

Hi Rich Yes, you should receive an email alert when someone responds to a thread where you have the Alert Me selected. When you compose a message, on the right side of the Compose window, place a check mark in the Alert Me check box. The email will be sent to the default email address for your login ID. Make sure you have @microsoft.com on your email spam whitelist. Hope this helps. Ronnie Vernon MVP
