What is Rundll32 for Windows 7 and what should I do about it?
When I click on an email response link I get a message about Rundll32 error...and then I click allow and it says no link or application or something can be found...blah blah blah. So I googled the problem and it seems this is a registry or corupted registry issue and if I down load one of their fixes it will be okay. And they all have this Microsoft...we're official blah blah blah stuff but when I go to use them I get a warnign not to trust them. What is going on? All I want to do is simply reply to emails like I used to. And yes, I am not a big tech person...just tell me where to find a "fix it" program I can trust and download and be done with this in five minutes.

If this is the case we just have to determine what is that startup item and remove it. to do so, 1. make a screen shot of the error box itself (Alt+PrintScreen so not to include the whole screen) then go to your system configuration utility (type msconfig in the start search box) 2. make a screen shot of the start tab of system configuration utility, if the list extends beyond the box then scroll it down to view the rest and make another screen shot. post those images here (make sure not to save it in .bmp format) or if you can't post it here you may email those to me at freehelp@cesabarre.com ah, well if you can figure out which start up item to disable in your system configuration utility then no need to do the above steps just go ahead. Be careful not to disable important items though. I hope this helps ceasar CESabarre Free Tech Support
