I too am getting the 0x800703E7 error message when I try to download SP2. I tried the Chkdsk utility but SP2 still won't download. I was not able to download SP1a either so it won't let me download SP3. What else can I do to get SP2 on my PC?

Are you trying to download directly from MS or with MU/WU?
