Where is the password stored in windows 7
We have deepfreeze and it freezes drive C: but leaves D: thawed. We put the user folders on D: but the user still can not change password.

Hello,
AFAIK, user accounts are stored in SAM database.
Even if you put your users folders in D drive, you will still unable to change passwords as you are using DeepFreeze.
Try to uninstall it and check again.
